Rest In Peace, Dame Diana Rigg

Dame Diana Rigg has passed away, at the age of 82, following a battle with cancer; she was reportedly diagnosed in March. May she rest in peace.

She will most likely be best remembered for her role as Emma Peel in The Avengers, which I have sadly never had the opportunity to see outside of the abysmal 90’s adaptation with Sean Connery. However, I do remember her part on Doctor Who’s The Crimson Horror, back in 2013. She played Mrs Gillyflower. I also remember her starring alongside Vincent Price, in Theater of Blood (1973).

After looking through her filmography, I see that I need to watch Rebecca (1997); she was Mrs. Danvers. That, and I should see about locating The Haunting of Helen Walker (1995).
