Syfy renews Paranormal Witness for a second season.
The Dark Knight Rises trailer gets an analysis from Io9. Also, here’s the trailer on Youtube.
Stay Puft Snowman.
Preview clip for the season finale (The Sword In The Stone, Part 2) of Merlin.
Doctor Who Timeline Infographic.
Bruce Campbell will be in Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great And Powerful after all.
First trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Looks great, but I won’t be going to see it.
Love Post 2011.
One day left for Yuletide.
From Cracked: The 11 Most Unintentionally Creepy Christmas Ornaments. And there’s also The 6 Most Unintentionally Hilarious Superhero Reinventions. The Punisher as an angel? Really?
More Sherlock (season 2) trailers.
Dreamwidth is allowing account creation without an invite code for the rest of the year. If anyone wants to find me over there, my username is the same there as it is here. I just don’t cross-post all that often, save when LJ’s down. When it comes to LJ’s alterations, the larger font style will take some getting used to. I rarely used subject lines in comments, outside of Yuletide, certain memes, and the occasional auction. I can see the icon selection bit being a problem for those on dial-up. The part where you can make everything go to unthreaded at the same time is good. I like the bit where it tells what comments are new since you last visited.
ETA: The tags being moved to the bottom of the page will also take some getting used to.

For all I know, my lack of interest could also be thanks to a teacher (who was otherwise pretty good) who made everyone read it. And then gave everyone a pop quiz on every single chapter, taking great pains for the questions to be on little things nobody noticed. Cue the whole class doing horribly, despite reading every page 50 times in an effort to beat that.
And I usually can't afford to see more than one or two movies a year, so I'm going to The Dark Knight Rises, and whatever a local theater (which is cheaper) has for next Halloween.

But that teacher should be flayed alive and spreadeagled on an anthill. Talk about anti-teaching!

And yet, he convinced me to read the rest of the novels. Which, if I hadn't been doing--another teacher (far worse, since he would skip teaching math to go play golf, leaving everyone locked out of the room) wouldn't have noticed, and dragged me into the closet at the back of his room. To show me his huge science fiction collection. Which he let me have, if I wanted any book.
So without that horrible teaching, I wouldn't have continued on into massive science fiction geekery.
