Lightning, And A Question

In the middle of a conversation on ICQ this morning, lightning struck in the front yard. There was a bright white light, the floor shook, and a very loud boom/bang. I immediately shut down the computer, just in case it happened to hit again. Thankfully, it missed the tree.

Incredibly, the cat slept through it.

I've checked, and based on what I can tell with it raining a little, there's a tiny singed area.



Now, for the question. I'm writing about Booster and Beetle in other media in the ship_manifesto essay. I know that Blue Beetle hasn't appeared in Justice League Unlimited due to some sort of a copyright problem. Does anyone know the exact reason? (I know for a fact that Booster Gold has appeared. It was the first episode of JLU that I ever saw. Can't remember the title at the moment, but I'll look it up.)

I've been writing the essay for the past couple of hours. When I started writing today, it was around 4 pages. Currently, it is at 7 pages.

I only need to add a few more links, and write a few paragraphs about Blue Beetle, and I should be finished.

(Although, I will need to get someone to help me create a banner for the essay.)

ETA: As of 5 PM, it's at 8 pages.
