Youtube Weirdness, And More...

Someone posted this over at scans_daily, and I just had to share the insanity for anyone that doesn’t read the group much. Someone posted a Youtube video that shows the 1988 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. They had Marvel superheroes fighting each other on a float, set to the theme from Back to the Future. It is horrifically bad, and must be seen to be believed. Watch it here.

The sad (or maybe just wonderfully geeky) thing is I could identify every single character in there--even Enchantress That’s the blonde in green for those that don’t recognize her. I think I even briefly spotted The White Queen and Luke Cage.

In other news, I discovered a Halloween special called The Halloween Tree has been added to TV Links. Personally I never grew up watching this, and only heard of it within the last year. However, for those who want to see it, you can watch it here.

Oh, and thank you for the gigantic birthday diamond on my user info, ilyena_sylph. And the cookies and milk, Sean. I think I'll hide them from J'onn.

I just received my assignment for spookathon, and I think I already have a few ideas.

And the poll in the previous post will remain open until after I get back from church tomorrow afternoon. At which point, I’ll see who won and then send in the application for Illyana.
