Universal Studios Fire

There was a fire at Universal Studios, in California. Among the casualties were the clock tower from Back to the Future, the set of Heroes (if I understood that correctly over at Whedonesque) and part of ER. Also, the King Kong exhibit, which I assume means the one from the 30’s.

There’s also a post about it over at whedonesque, which you can see here. The studio’s video library was affected, but not the motion picture negatives. According to The Los Angeles Times, it also destroyed the Ben Hur set. So far, that’s all I’ve been able to find out about what’s been burned.
