Jul. 22nd, 2008 01:41 pmI went to my regular doctor today, and since I had already had a blood test done Friday (with the blood doctor) I didn’t need one done today. As expected, she was traumatized by the description of everything—and weirded out be the no symptoms aspect. My next appointment with her is supposed to be sometime in 2-3 months, but since I already had another appointment scheduled with her in the end of September—done before the whole mess started—we’ll go with that one.
Also, the pink stuff (the liquid) is only supposed to be taken for a month. According to the doctor, after this Friday I don’t take that anymore. Also, starting Friday, I’ll be back on the iron—I was only off it because the pink stuff would make the iron unable to be absorbed in the stomach.
Has anyone else seen this video of a pair of guys (this was apparently in the 60’s) that raised a baby lion, set it free, and then came back a while later to visit it in the wild? When it saw them, it ran to them, and hugged them—then brought over his mate to see them, too. They’ve been showing it on The Today Show, CNN, The View, the local news, and quite a few other places. Snopes has some history of it, and what happened after.
More news on the upcoming Real Ghostbusters box set. It tells everything that will be on the DVD’s, including tons of extras.
