metaquotes post earlier, over here. It involves a dream someone had, where the Daleks and Joker ruled the world—which I believe halfway happened in the Emperor Joker storyline.
This discussion over at
doctorwho made me wonder if there were any fanfics out there where the Doctor either gets taken over by the vortex he takes out of Rose, or is taken over by the power of it at any other time. Anyone know of any? Or any stories where Jack used the vortex instead of Rose?
In other (and awful) news, it’s good that I don’t leave the house on Black Friday (for anything other than a used bookstore trip, anyway). Someone was trampled to death at a Wal-Mart in New York. Elsewhere, someone fired a gun and killed two people at a Toys R Us.
Whatever happened to the days when you just had a tug-of-war over the last Cabbage Patch Doll? Mom told me stories of going to the mall when I was little, seeing a brawl (with hair pulling and scratching included) over the last Cabbage Patch Doll, and just leaving. Thankfully, even at the age of 3, I understood the reasoning behind not wanting to die over a toy.
