Forrest J. Ackerman filmed a farewell message a couple of days before he passed away. You can watch it here.

Natasha Richardson (wife of Liam Neeson) may or may not be in a coma. She may or may not be brain dead. She may or may not have a slight cough--that last one was apparently according to one Canadian site, from what I’ve heard on a couple of shows. Whatever turns out to be the case, my best wishes go out to both her, and her family. There have been too many conflicting reports on her condition.

I didn’t think I had ever heard of her before, but according to IMDB she was in the Jeremy Brett version of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The episode was The Copper Beeches, and she played Violet Hunter. Which means I would have seen her at some point when the episode was shown on A&E in the 90’s, back when they used to show it.

On a less morbid note, looks like someone’s intrigued (in the comments) by two of my prompts over at [community profile] multific. The Martha as an Immortal one, and the prompt about Donna and the pie that [personal profile] frenchroast gave me.

Just finished watching both the pilot episode of Being Human, and the first episode of the actual series. I think I like it. Thankfully, I prefer the recast of Annie to the pilot episode's actress.

I'm also glad that George wasn't recast, because the actor that plays him seems good from what I've seen of him so far.

Anyone know of any good groups dedicated to the show?

ETA: And I only just realized that Russell Tovey also played Midshipman Frame, thanks to checking IMDB.
