Over at Cracked.com, there’s a hysterical article called A Journey To Hell: My Earth Hour Without Electricity. You might die laughing.

The I Love You Meme, which has been slowly spreading across my friends list. Linking to it, since I love my friends list.

From what I understand, Pushing Daisies’ series finale will actually air on ABC, and not on their website—it airs on Saturday, May 30th, at 9 PM CST.

Why David Tennant and Russell T. Davies Are Leaving Doctor Who. It’s actually a very cute and funny interview.

Andy Hallett’s family wants donations toward a scholarship fund in lieu of flowers. You can find more details on that here, and where to send donations if anyone is interested.

In other news, today the temperature got into the high 70’s. Tomorrow? It’s supposed to snow.

I’m currently working on my fanfic for the Finish-A-Thon--the title is officially For The World Is Hollow And I Have Touched The Pie. However, I’m torn for which of these two ideas I should start the fanfic with since it keeps evolving into weirder and weirder things, so I’m starting a poll.

Which of these two ideas works best? Turned out to be way too long for the poll, so I’m writing the prompts here, and putting #1 or #2 in the poll itself.

-The Doctor’s already been turned into a marionette and kidnapped by aliens at the start of the story. Donna pilots the TARDIS (badly, since she’s still learning how things work--she hits a street vendor at one point) to pre-programmed coordinates, which turn out to be Torchwood. From there, Jack, Martha, and Donna go off to help the Doctor--with pie.

-The Doctor and Donna are visiting Jack at Torchwood, aliens fall through the Rift, there’s a misunderstanding and they zap the Doctor into a marionette. With this one, it might turn into a food fight, once the data banks of the TARDIS mention pear pie will kill them...

The second one would somehow lead to the Doctor being force fed pear pie by Donna, because some of the chemical elements in it will counteract the zap, and restore him. She might threaten to turn him into firewood if he doesn’t keep quiet and just eat it.

[Poll #1378660]

Oh, and just so I have one for when I finally get it written--any volunteers to beta read it when I finally finish? I should have it done in a couple weeks--it’s not due until the end of May. The characters featured in it will include the Tenth Doctor, Jack, Martha, and Donna. Maybe Wilf, I haven’t quite decided yet.

I can picture him saluting the tiny marionette Doctor, and ignoring the strangeness, for Donna. Everyone mocking him, except for Wilf.
