RIP, Michael Gough--Plus, Fannish Items of Interest

Michael Gough has passed away at the age of 94. He may be best remembered in the role of Alfred in Tim Burton movies, as well as Batman Forever and Batman And Robin. He was also in Classic Doctor Who as both the Celestial Toymaker, as well as Councillor Hedin. I also remember that he played Arthur in Hammer’s Horror of Dracula. May he rest in peace.

8 Mostly Forgotten 90’s Cartoons. I remember Road Rovers and The Mighty Ducks. With the latter, I don’t believe I watched it—I think I watched an ABC special telling what new shows would be airing on Fridays and Saturdays, and that was one of them.

Geoff Johns thinks the Sandman series is happening after all. Given the fact the news was that it was not going forward just the other day, make of that what you will.

Eva Green says Dark Shadows will take place in the 70’s. Angelique is also American now, therefore not originating from Martinique. And, again, the script is referred to as funny, which doesn’t seem to bode well.

Of the icons that are still active in the x_meggan journal, the ones I was using prior to the free paid account trial are not the ones that survived. Except for the icon I had as default. When I looked yesterday, I thought there were a couple that had made it through other than that. Apparently not when I went to comment with it today, or something weird happened and a glitch rearranged it.

I may end up just deleting that default one (adorable though it may be) and numerous others just to get back the ones I need the most, unless it turns out not being able to access them is a glitch and not a bait and switch.

I'm going to dig through the comments in the last few news posts later, and see if anyone asked about it.
