Rest In Peace, Gene Wilder

Gene Wilder has passed away at the age of 83, as a result of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. May he rest in peace. He is most famous for his roles in Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory and Young Frankenstein. I avoided the former (well, except for the “there’s no earthly way of knowing” scene) but the latter is good. For Sherlock Holmes fans, he was Sigerson Holmes in The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother.

When I was 6, I loved Haunted Honeymoon, even if I now realize it wasn’t that great.

Coordinating My Yuletide Nominations In Advance

For my own little reminder--when the nominations open, I will definitely be nominating Penny Dreadful. Thanks to coordinating with selenak and others, my character nominations for the fandom will be: Inspector Bartholomew Rusk, Sembene, Hecate Poole, and Renfield.

thisbluespirit will hopefully be nominating Dracula (ITV 1968), which takes care of one I had an interest in seeing.

Crimson Peak (2015) will be nomination #2. The characters I plan to nominate will be: Lucille Sharpe, Thomas Sharpe, Edith Cushing, and Alan McMichael. I wanted to see Enola Sciotti or Lady Beatrice Sharpe, or another of the two other ghost wives nominated, but there wouldn’t be room. Does anyone else plan to nominate this one? If so, there's already going to be four taken care of by me.

For my third one? Does anyone on my friends list/circle desperately want to see Dark Shadows (1991) get a nomination? If not, I could easily trade it for Dracula, by Bram Stoker. (To make things quicker, have a poll.)
