From Cracked: The Five Most Baffling Horror Movies From Around The World. I’m happy to see Mystics in Bali made the list. And then, there’s The 6 Creepiest Places on Earth, Part 2.

For Halloween, [profile] thespoonyone has reviewed The Howling 2: Your Sister Is A Werewolf, for those interested in watching. While Christopher Lee makes any movie worth viewing, that’s sadly not the case here--unless you just watch his scenes. While I had heard of what occurs in the end credits with reshowing a certain moment? I always thought it was only once or twice, and not 16 times.

Also Halloween related: CliqueClack has done a round-up of what’s on (in the U.S.) Halloween night. I wish I could get Fox Movie Channel, Chiller, IFC, and TCM. If you’d like to know what’s on that’s Halloween related before then, go to this page on The Halloween Forum. It also tells more than what CliqueClack does.

Caprica is canceled, effective immediately. It will be replaced with another Battlestar Galactica spin-off, rather than what I was expecting: wrestling.

And tonight is Rifftrax Live: House on Haunted Hill at the theater near the mall--so I’ll be going to that. I managed to get the tickets the day before the insane winds and bad weather on Tuesday. Saturday is the Zombie Walk. I might go to the seminar for surviving a zombie attack 30 minutes before that.

20 mad scientists who turned against their creations.

Stephen Fry has a role in Sherlock Holmes 2.

Io9 discusses the old Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 80’s. I always ended up possessed or dead, depending on the book. My favorites were the one where you’re stuck in ancient Greece, and I think one where someone gets possessed by a ninja. There was also one with space vampires.

Union problems are holding up The Hobbit.

The Birds of Prey (Huntress, Catwoman, and Black Canary) sing on Batman: The Brave And The Bold. So much innuendo, so little time. I think I might track down an episode or two after watching that.

Found via [profile] thespoonyone: It Came From The Lawn. Someone sent it in for a contest. A zombie rises from the lawn and chases a guy, complete with silent movie music, cards, and lingo. Funny.

And last but not least, three celebrities have passed away. Gloria Stuart passed away at the age of 100. She was best known for her roles in Titanic and The Invisible Man. Jackie Burroughs (best known to me as The Evil Spirit in The Care Bears Movie) passed away, due to stomach cancer, at the age of 71. And Jimi Heselden—the current owner of Segway Inc.— passed away after accidentally driving his Segway scooter off a cliff and into a river. May they all rest in peace.
