Help Remembering A Show
Jul. 17th, 2007 06:22 pmI’m trying to find out the name of a show that probably aired somewhere around the time period of 1995-1997. I don’t know how long it lasted, but it probably wasn’t that long judging by how often the reruns would start all over again. I saw reruns of it on USA Network around that time period. And it was either before or after Ned and Stacey--which was also being rerun around the same time. Wings was likely also airing during that time period of the day.
All I can remember is the show was a comedy, and aired sometime around 9 or 10 AM on weekday mornings, in reruns. I think it was set in New York, but I could be wrong about that. Most of the action took place in what looked like a run down apartment complex, and there were at least five people there.
I checked Wikipedia, and I can’t really find a list of the sitcoms that were reruns that the USA Network has aired.
If nobody on my friends list knows, I’ll ask the people at
whatwasthatone--I just wanted to try here first.
On a non tv show search note: Over on Youtube, I found an animated version of The Tell Tale Heart, and realized that this 7 minute movie is what everyone in my grade ended up watching in 7th or 8th grade in English class. And, apparently, when it was first released in 1953 it was rated X in the UK. Not sure of the rating in the U.S., but you can watch it here.
ETA: The show I was looking for turned out to be a very obscure sitcom called Fired Up.
