Greatestjournal Issues

For those of you that use Greatestjoural, but haven’t been over there in the last few days, I just thought I would let you know about something. They are actually encouraging people to leave and head over to Insanejournal, because the servers are slowing. Apparently, due to the influx of people joining when Livejournal has problems.

Nobody knows if they'll be shutting down entirely or not. If I understand it correctly, they aren’t allowing people to register new journals either. Here’s the news post.

Some on my GJ friends list have come up with a way that might help the servers, as well as how to archive your journal, just in case. Read it here. There’s another discussion here.
