Comment Notifications

If anyone is still having problems with LJ notifications not being sent, this is the reason why, according to the latest news post. I haven’t received any notifications for a while, since this whole thing started. However, yesterday I did receive one from last Wednesday, and one from the day before yesterday. I use Yahoo. So I have a question for those on my friends list. If I switch the x_meggan journal to having notifications sent to my Gmail address—since I have Gmail set to forward everything to my main Yahoo account, would it forward the notifications? Or would they still not arrive since they have to do with LJ, which Yahoo dislikes right now? Has anyone else attempted this?

If they still wouldn't arrive, I'll just do what I've been doing for threads. Refresh every few minutes or so for ongoing discussions, or check back periodically.

Given how many notifications I’m currently owed, I almost dread when they all start pouring in.

A fourth season has been confirmed for Being Human.

The Russian trailer for X-Men: First Class includes a bit of footage not previously seen in the English version. Read the comments at Blastr, since someone translated the text and dialogue into English. You get to see Magneto in his helmet. The other difference is there’s music in place of the JFK speech.

The idea of a Sandman series is dead again.

The preview for Red Nose Day includes a short clip of the Doctor Who segment.
