The prompt was to include at least one of the following: “Something light and fluffy involving Christmas presents gone wrong. Others include: sharing hot chocolate on a distant moon, California Dreamin', visiting Wilf's wedding to her grandma. You can do whichever or mix-match.” If anyone needs to know when this is set in season 4, it’s a bit before Turn Left.

My top 5 mostly consists of stories I’ve written for the Doctor Who fandom. Which reminds me--someday I really need to write the Highlander/Who crossover where it turns out Martha’s Immortal. I have an outline of how the entire thing would go, I just never actually got around to writing it.

Notes: This story came about thanks to a challenge from becky_writing--one of the prompts was the line “Wake up and French kiss the morning.” This was combined with a meme that got this prompt from frenchroast: “To save the world, the Doctor and Captain Jack must try to make...banana pudding!” It turned into a cracky fanfic rather than a world saving one, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Give me two characters from different fandoms you know I'm familiar with, and I'll give you a dialogue happening between the two of them. Without justifying how the crossover would work, how their worlds clashed, or how they could even meet each other. Just a silly crossover conversation with no backstory, for fun.

Fandoms I'm familiar with include: Highlander, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Veronica Mars, Dark Shadows, Ghostbusters, Buffy, Angel, X-Men, Xena, Hercules, Smallville, Firefly, Sherlock Holmes, Heroes, Good Omens, and Batman. Only just started watching Life on Mars (I'm on episode 2, I think) but I'll throw that one in, too. Oh, and Stargate SG-1 up until the time they met the Ori, or whatever they were called.

Notes: This was written for the spook_me ficathon. I’m setting it sometime after season 3, probably during season 4 as Donna is the companion. For those that haven’t seen the end of season 3, there are a couple of mentions of events that occurred, and a certain revelation about Jack. Also, a mention of the second episode of Torchwood. The name Phillip Fixell is a merging of two names--the first name of Sleepy Hollow’s mayor, and the last name of Tarrytown’s. His middle name is a nod to Washington Irving. There isn’t actually a river where I’ve placed it, but Washington Irving claimed creative license and I wanted to stick with a river being nearby.
