Willie Garson has passed away, at the age of 57, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. May he rest in peace.

I mostly remember loving him as Mozzie from the brief time (probably just saw the first season, and part of season 2, not sure; I wandered away and never cared enough to return) I watched White Collar years ago. I knew he recently popped up on a few episodes of Supergirl when I happened to look in on that show, and during a rewatch of a few episodes of Quantum Leap (on Comet) a few months back, I was surprised to realize that he played Lee Harvey Oswald.

After looking through his filmography, I realized that I do remember him from Soapdish (1991) and Stargate SG-1. In the latter, he was the alien that helped produce Wormhole X-Treme. He was apparently a bodyguard in an episode of Buffy: Killed By Death, from season 2.

For those interested, I found the original Michael Eisner intro for Mr. Boogedy, over on Youtube. I remembered him floating away after putting on the cape, but that was the intro for Bride of Boogedy.

x_journal: Yesterday, I was digging through a Carey Mulligan site, and I spotted a couple pictures that could probably be how Meggan will be looking, once Selene’s completely controlling her. Either this or this. Probably the second one, and slightly scarier. Poor thing will have very short hair once she’s back to normal, because of her--possibly stuck dark for a long while, before it looks like this.

Den of Geek lists the films that gave them childhood nightmares. I had never seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit until recently, so that one’s not on my own list. I didn’t care for the Star Wars trilogy as a child, because it bored me--still does. I have never seen Willy Wonka or Watership Down. Never seen Labyrinth, didn’t see much of Willow. Went to the theater to see Beauty and the Beast, and it never bothered me. However, I definitely agree with their picks of Return to Oz and The Witches.

Felicia Day will be in an adaptation of Red Riding Hood for Syfy. And, apparently, Amanda Seyfried will be in another version of it. Between the two, I probably want to see the Felicia Day version.
