They look like the mutant offspring of dragonflies and mosquitoes, but they won’t hurt you. They live ten days, and die—in that time, they mate (when they can fly in a straight line) and lay hundreds of eggs. Actual Size. (Almost. I saw a few that large, but they’re usually not much larger than your hand.)

I received two fanfics in Yuletide.

First, the main one I got was for The Mummy. I loved it, and you captured Evie’s character perfectly, along with the repercussions of what happened in The Mummy Returns. Whoever it was, you did a fantastic job. Something In The Shadow.

And someone out there saw my Ghostbusters prompt where I requested a story where Peter was possessed by a minion of Gozer, and wrote an extra story for me with it. Whoever it was, a huge thank you, since it’s exactly what I wanted in that fandom. You captured the characters brilliantly. I loved it, and I’ll comment on this one and the other one when the server isn’t under so much strain. Hidden Deep Inside.

Just a reminder: The End of Time Part 1 airs tomorrow on BBC America, since we get it the day after the UK gets it. I’ll still try to watch it before that, though.
