After 28 years on the air, Regis Philbin is ready to retire. I’ve been watching his show since I was 7—so 22 years for me. I never thought he would retire. I honestly expected him to die on the set, or during a show first. If they manage to replace him, the only ones I can see working are Anderson Cooper (who has a show on CNN) or her husband.
