I finally managed to locate season 1 (season 2 is easily found on the WB’s website) of Pushing Daisies, and rewatched large chunks to refresh my memory. So I can place the series back into my fandom offerings for Yuletide.

So after the last of the reshuffling, the fandoms I’m offering (unless I trade out The Mummy for Indiana Jones again) are: Fright Night (1985), Back to the Future, The Mummy series, Ghostbusters, Pushing Daisies, Addams Family (1991). And the Bucket List includes: Van Helsing (2004), Mockingbird Lane, Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, Anno Dracula Series—Kim Newman, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 1996, A Study In Emerald—Neil Gaiman, Mannequin, Soapdish (1991), Addams Family (tv 1964).

Just received word from Donna that we’ve hit the end of the road with Nellie and her pancreatic cancer. She’s in the hospital now, having refused hospice at home. Hospice is apparently (didn’t realize they did that in the hospital) just across the hall from her current room in the hospital, so they plan to move her over there.

Finally heard from Phillip (Mom’s brother)—where he’s at, Sandy didn’t dump too much. He’s currently just outside the zone where it would be, so he only received high winds. Meanwhile, all family in Louisiana are fine as of the last anyone heard, since it didn’t go there.

If it turns out I like it, then I'll consider throwing it into my offerings pile the next time I go through and edit my Yuletide sign-up sheet.

He was supposed to be in the room next door, showing Halloween at the same time, from what I gathered. It was a good Rifftrax, went off without any technical difficulties. As I was leaving, I heard from behind me someone was muttering over and over: "I...didn't know movies could be that bad. I-I didn't know...I didn't know..." Their friend consoled them. Upon my telling him there’s a sequel, Dad started laughing hysterically in the car. The short with Norman was hysterical.

For Yuletide, I just did a massive overhaul of my sign-up. I realized that it had been too long since I watched Pushing Daisies, and if I didn’t remember major character moments and/or little quirks I couldn’t possibly do them justice if that were my assignment. So I removed that, and replaced it with Fright Night (2011). I’m fine with writing any character for Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), so I moved that to the Bucket List section, and replaced that slot with Justice League Unlimited.

So as of now, my offers look like this: Fright Night (1985), Back to the Future, Fright Night (2011), Ghostbusters, Justice League & Justice League Unlimited (Cartoons), Addams Family (1991). Bucket List: Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), Anno Dracula Series - Kim Newman, Beetle Juice (1988), Van Helsing (2004), Mannequin (1987), A Study in Emerald - Neil Gaiman, Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (2004), Soapdish (1991), The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 1996.

If I watch Mockingbird Lane and enjoy it, I’ll throw that into the pile, too.

Posting this a bit early now, before I head out for a double bill showing of Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein at the local Cinemark. That’s about three hours, I do believe. Tomorrow night is Rifftrax Live.

I know exactly what to request, I just need to whittle down what I’m offering. For example—removing The Shadow upon seeing a couple Dear Yuletide letters, since I’ve only seen the film, and not the radio show, serial or comics. I need to find out if Dark Shadows (60’s version—since I know the 90’s version is on Youtube, but it wasn’t nominated), Pushing Daisies, and Real Ghostbusters are available online for viewing, so I can brush up on canon—been a while since I watched those.
